analysis of preliminary task

I am fairly pleased with the groups preliminary task. however, the task did not follow the story board Ned and I had drafted prior to filming. For example; we had planned to use a dolly shot moving backwards as the actor walked towards the camera but this proved to take a long time, we later opted for a stationary shot with a short pan. On the other hand, I was more than satisfied with the match on action of this opening section. I feel that Ned and I worked well as a small team, agreeing on shot distance, position and later, editing. I found our friendship both helped and slowed the process somewhat. If I was to complete the task again I would make more of an emphasis on finding a decent location and also focusing more on continuity and scripting as the later sections let us down slightly
